DESIGN AND DRAFTING
Naturally, design is the foundation of the task. At our first meeting,
your Project Manager discusses the project in general terms. The
overall picture will develop naturally as we discuss the requirements,
aesthetics, and, of course, your preferences for your specific project.
At this time we will discuss details that will affect pricing and
lead time (how long the project will take to produce and install).
Then our drafting team takes over. Your Project Manager transfers
all of the information gathered at the first meeting to one of our
draftsmen. The resulting drawing will be a preliminary view of our
new endeavor together. You will then review this plan and we will
revise it to meet your specifications. These plans are then drawn
using the latest Cad Cam technology showing many views and details
plotted on large-scale paper. The finalized “Shop Drawings”
will follow your project from planning through installation and
will be accurate and clear to the very last detail.
If you hired an architect or designer, we will redraw his or her
designs showing important construction aspects of the final product
and inform you of any possible technical issues. Should there be
any technical issues that affect the construction of the project,
we will immediately inform you and we will discuss any possible
changes.
Many of our projects are coordinated with design professionals
who are hired by the client. In fact, many of our clients include
architects, designers and contractors. If you wish, we will be happy
to recommend a professional to work with you who has a proven track
record of excellence.
